There will be many opportunities for high schoolers and adults to volunteer at the Convention! High schoolers will be able to earn service hours; dads can feel useful while mom is browsing, and everyone can gain free or discounted admission (depending on how much volunteer work is done). An added benefit - volunteering is a great way to make new friends!
Door monitors - we will be needing volunteers to stand at the entrance doors to the Speaker Halls and the Exhibition Halls to ensure that only people with wristbands enter (1 hour shifts). There will 1 or 2 volunteers per door and you may request to be assigned to the same door as a friend or family member.
Set-up Crew - This is the Earlybird shift (6am - 8am/ 8am - 10am shifts on April 12th). We need volunteers to help vendors set up and bring in their supplies. We will also need "runners" to bring vendors coffees, bagels etc.
Tear-down Crew - 4pm - 6pm on April 12th - help vendors "tear-down" their booths and carry their supplies back to their vehicles
